Vamos a recordar algunas cosillas de la sesión para que no queden en el tintero; así que vashamos por partes:

1º Lo más importante, cara a la próxima sesión a ver si nuestros más cyberactivos jugadores se ponen en contacto con algún foro para aclarar nuestras dudas sobre “si powers totales disponibles” = “power usables al día”, o si, como yo creo, hay que elegir. Las respuestas aquí en ls “comments”.

2º Sobre la partida en sí: disfruté mucho, sobre todo porque hacía tiempo que no se planteaban combates en escenarios amplios y eso permitió nuevas estrategias y conjuros que hacía tiempo que no se veían.

3º Hubo un par de errores míos (en vuestro beneficio) por ejemplo: releyendo “telaraña” me día cuenta que sólo quedan atrapados en ella aquellos que finalicen su acción de movimento en su área. Es decir, si yo empujo a alguien a la telaraña, no queda automáticamente atrapado;  si en su turno no sale de ella, entonces sí. Únicamente queda atrapado seguro la criatura original sobre la que se centre el conjuro cuando se lanza.  Otro error importante  fue el que cometí con la acción “correr”. Si echáis un vistazo a la página 291 del MdJ, se os van a quitar las ganas de ello. Tal y como os dije, quien corre avanza 2 casillas más, pero automáticamente concede ventaja de combate ese round y su ataque es a -5 (no a -2 como hicimos).

Pfff twitter. Más mierda. Yo no soy muy de piar, pero al final uno se acaba haciendo cuenta de todo… y lo abandona…. y lo retoma…. demasiado…

En fin, para los profanos, Twitter es una página-aplicación, como tantas otras, para perder el tiempo. Se trata de mandar mensajes cortos y soltarlos al aire ¿Quién lo leerá? Aquellos que te sigan. Es una comunicación unidireccional, es decir, yo soy follower de Kevin Smith, así que leo lo que twittea ese frikazo, pero él no es follower mío, así que no lee lo que twitteo yo. Sólo lees lo que escriben aquellos que has elegido, y en esa simplicidad está su grandeza. Muchas estrellas tienen twitter y los siguen mucha gente que leen sus twits, pero ellos no leen más que los twits de los que han elegido seguir, que suelen ser otras estrellas.

Lo bueno de esto es que muchos se van de la lengua y acaban filtrando información, o simplemente lo sueltan porque ya toca, pero suele ser el primer canal en el que aparece la información, ya que es más fácil decir tal información directamente en un par de frases que preparar una noticia para la web y que la agencia que lleva tu página la haga efectiva.

Obviamente, yo sigo el twit @Wizards_DnD , que es el oficial de WotC y que esta noche está pletórico. Os transcribo los twits que me están llegando…

We’re big fans of Gamma world and excited to bring it back. The assumption for Gamma world is that your character is probably going to be a

mutant… might be part cockroch, part yeti – or a pyrokinetic yet… or a plant.

The game also has a card component. A deck of 80 cards with 40 tech cards and 40 mutation cards you might suddently manifest

Could be something useful like life-leach or something comical like big floppy feet

Gamma world random booster packs include more mutations and tech. These will be found in core stores

Game days for gamma world will revolve around picking up some boosters, and creating a character based on the cards you get

Heroes of forgotten kingdoms, offers new builds for paladin, druid, ranger, rogue and warlock. Another Essential book.

We’re focusing on the lost empires of old in this one. Human, dragonborn, tiefling, half-orc, drow, half-elf.

Along with Player Essentials book, provides the basis for new players. Soft Cover, 20.00

Another board game in November. Dungeons of Dragonfire Mountain.

We looked a the Castle Ravenloft boardgame, the core system. Shares the same basic mechanics but with different twists.

Still a fast paced dungeon crawl adventure, different theme/different hooks. As both board games are modular tiles, you can combine both

Essentials: Monster Vault. Boxed set comes with booklet of monsters as well as tokens for every kind of creature found in the book #ddxp

How does a store sell a player on the essentials and then on the other core books?

We drive new players to The Red Box. Once they’re in red box, there’s a clear migration path.

Once people are already playing, they can go to the shelf and find the products they want.

Will lords of madness be available before GenCon?

If we have lords of madness at GenCon, it will be very limited.

Orcus, 74.99 and very limited quantity

Essentials – DM sets and monster sets are boxes, red box is obviously a box, the players essentials are books only

Question: What’s the plan for 2011 if 2010 appears to be making it easier for new players?

We can’t talk too much about 2011, but we’ll be doing some similar trade dress and continue on with what we’ve been doing.

Question – Is the Rules compendium in the DM kit as well? Answer – Yes. It contains the Rules compendium book.

Question – When you play heroscape, the rules don’t translate to D&D. Why is that? Answer – It’s meant to be Heroscape and basicly point…

to D&D. We want it to be the Heroscape rules and game. #ddxp

Question – Any thought.s of Dark Sun miniatures? Answer – As a subset of a subset, we won’t be doing a whole set of just Dark Sun minis…

but expect to see Dark Sun themed minis in future minis releases #ddxp

Dos asuntos enturbian mi kharma (Chacón):

El primero es una apelación directa al señor Torrent para que confirme D.M. (¿Dios Mediante?, ¿Dungeon Master?, ¿Depeche Mode?…) si jugamos en su santa casa el sábado 30 o domingo 31, porque me tengo que cuadrar el calendario como si fuera una ficha técnica de FPO.

En segundo lugar, necesito que me enviéis vuestra ficha en character builder actualizada a nivel 7 (os quedan pocos PX y pasaréis en la próxima sesión) con objetos que tengáis. Es importante que lo hagáis porque es lo que utilizo para que a mi mente depravada no se le vaya la mano con criaturas excesivamente pollonas para vuestros tiernos ortos. En otras palabras, si no hay fichas actualizadas delante que limiten mis ansias de carnage,  sabés que soy un puto loco que se despierta algunas noches para garabatear en la libreta mis pesadillas con Illithids, true beholders, pit fiends y cosas por el estilo (a la moda Sulasspryn)…y sí. Leticia lo sabe. Aún se quiere casar conmigo. Me ama.

Sancho necesitaré tu caja de “decorados” (todos excepto ese templo azulito con columnas que no es necesario, pero sí especialmente exteriores y esa entrada de cueva que hiciste con varias piedras grandes.

Joder tíos. No tenéis ni idea del cague que pasé el otro día.
Pensé que no lo contaba…

Yo iba tan tranquilo por la calle cuando de repente, un loco de estos que juegan al rol ese, que usan la ouija y adoran al demonio… va y me asalta por sorpresa. Lo que se dice un auténtico ataque furtivo.
Por un momento pensé que me iba a sacar una katana y me iba a cortar en cachitos.

Pero el tío con toda la cara de loco perdío diciendome cosas raras de noseque de una partida y yo diciendole: “Mire ud. caballero… déjeme que yo sólo estoy haciendo fotos… ¡suéltame, frikipollas!”

¡Qué tío más raro! Seguro que fue uno de esos que hizo lo del Jueves Santo en Sevilla.

Si es que yo a los locos esos los cogía y los ponía en un paredón. O mejor, volvía a poner el servicio militar obligatorio ¡y hala, a servir a la Patria a la Conchinchina! Ya veríais si se les quitan las tonterías y los pajaritos que tienen encima, con tós los pelos que tienen en los webos ya…
